The site data is hosted on servers located in Germany, within the European Union.

2.2 Content delivery and protection network (CDN)

The Site uses the services of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States) as a content delivery network (CDN) and protection against attacks (web application firewall). On this basis, user requests transit through Cloudflare servers before reaching the main server. This transfer outside the European Union is governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission (see Article 9 of the Terms).

2.3 Storage of user files

Files uploaded by Members (avatars, profile images, attachments) are stored on the Cloudflare R2 service.

2.4 List of technical processors

The detailed and up-to-date list of technical processors is available in the Privacy Policy integrated into the Terms (Article 9.7).

Article 3 - Access to the site

The site is accessible from anywhere, 24/7 except in cases of force majeure, scheduled or unscheduled interruption that may result from maintenance needs. In case of modification, interruption or suspension of services, the Publisher cannot be held responsible.

Article 4 - Intellectual property

The entire site, including its structure, texts, images, videos, quizzes, and all other elements composing it (excluding user-generated content and third-party trademarks or logos), is the exclusive intellectual property of the Publisher.

The trademark 'Howmation' is a registered trademark with INPI (French Intellectual Property Office) and is the exclusive property of Mr. Valentin GOUDET. It may not be used without prior written authorization.

Any unauthorized use of the site or any of its elements will be considered as infringement and prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of articles L.335-2 and following of the French Intellectual Property Code.

Article 5 - Liability

The Publisher strives to provide information as accurate as possible but cannot be held responsible for omissions, inaccuracies and shortcomings in updates. Information relating to products and prices is provided for informational purposes and without guarantee.

Article 6 - Personal data protection

The collection and processing of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, integrated into Article 9 of our Terms and Conditions of Use and Services (Terms), and compliant with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Pursuant to articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, EI GOUDET VALENTIN has put in place a consumer mediation mechanism. The selected mediation entity is: CNPM Médiation Consommation. In the event of a dispute that could not be resolved through a prior complaint sent to [email protected], the consumer may refer the matter to the mediator free of charge, electronically at https://www.medconsodev.eu/ or by post at: CNPM Médiation Consommation, 27 avenue de la Libération, 42400 Saint-Chamond, France. The mediator must be contacted within a maximum period of one year from the written complaint sent to EI GOUDET VALENTIN.

Article 8 - Applicable law and jurisdiction

These legal notices are governed by French law. In case of dispute and in the absence of an amicable agreement, exclusive jurisdiction is attributed to the competent French courts of Paris.
